Bison decals – go to https://picasaweb.google.com/bisondecals

you will need to have a account with picasaweb.

    Just search for Johan Lexell.

Have high quality printable work sheets – great for markings and for paint jobs!

  2. Mark says:

I have the Bison set for the NZ Shermans and no 105 markings did the kiwis have 105 shermans?

    • Mark says:

Or the British with their own SPG tanks.

    • Dean says:

Yup they did, check the site map under “photo references” for a link to a really handy kiwi website on what armour we’ve used over the years. Actually, it might be worth emailing him to see if he can point you ( Bart that is ) in the right direction.

  3. Bart says:

anyone know any good sites for markings for NZ sherman tanks? Googling away last night and getting a few nibbles, but nothing that I was really after.

Aiming at italy, and looking for markings for a 105 howitzer version Sherman – or British if I can’t find a Kiwi 105.

and if I can find neither, bugger…

    • Andrew says:

Bison make a few 1/35 decal sets that feature Kiwi armour in Italy, but sadly not any 105mm Shermans included :(
Someone did make a 1/72 set that had markings for a 105mm NZ Sherman, but I believe that set is way OOP.

Maybe you could contact Jeff Plowman through his website?

    • Dean says:

I contacted David Waters who runs the Antipodean Armour website and he had this to say :
“The best source I have come across is Jeff Plowman’s “Camouflage & Markings of the Shermans in New Zealand Service 1943-45″

Also Bison do a set of decals for the 19th NZ Armd Regt, which includes a 105mm Sherman. http://www.angelfire.com/pro/bison/35105.html

Searching the National Archives online and the official war histories of the 3 Armd Regts will produce nothing extra what is in Jeff Plowman’s book. “

  4. Bart says:

yep, 35145 sans crew. will let you know, cheers!

  5. Dean says:

If it’s the new one with the crew you can find instructions for a lot of kits on http://www.1999.co.jp – this is for the new Tamiay FlaK 37 ( kit number 35302 ) – http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10088646 . If it’s for the old one ( kit number 35145 )and no-one has come to the rescue yet let me know, I think I have one in a box somewhere that I can hunt out.

  6. Bart says:
