Im looking for info on something I saw in a book a long time ago. It was in a german language book in my local library (Dingwall in the Highlands of Scotland). There was a photograph of an 88mm flak 36/37 mounted on a PIV chassis. I have not seen the photo again or seen any reference to it anywhere. I would like to know if anyone has seen or has any reference material with recards this vehicle?
Hi John, I have a few photos of the 8.8cm FlaK 36/37 on various chassis. I’ve got some photos going up in the morning of the VFW1 which is a Pz.Kpfw.IV/Pz.Kpfw.V/FAMO hybrid with an 88 so check back tomorrow. If it’s not that one I have a few photos of a 8.8cm FlaK 37 on a Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.C/H hybrid chassis so I can hunt those out and put them up for you but might need a day or two to sort through my photos to find which folder they’re in.
