I just got sent this photo which was taken at Nuremberg ( not sure who the original owner is so if you know let me know and I’ll credit it ). Looks like as well as doing the 8.8cm FlaK 18 Bunkerknacker 12t Trumpeter have the basic artillery towing version ready to go. I knew if I put off getting the Des Kit version that sooner or later someone would do one in plastic.

This appears to have been totally missed at Nuremberg but it looks like Italeri has this planned as their next 1/35 Torpedo Boat release, and it’s ready to go judging by the built up example. Not the best photo sorry, it’s from IPMS Germany and is focusing more on the dock ( there’s also a couple of photos thrown in showing the dock that has just been released and the smaller dock with stairs that I assume is soon to follow ). I assume it’s based on their Elco 80 kit but I’m affraid I’m not expert enough to tell how accurate it is.

Just as an interesting wee personal side note, the first boat kit I ever built was the Revell PT 109 at the insistence of my grandfather who served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and who said he had seen it in the flesh so to speak.

IBG has recently put out their third and forth 1/36 scale trucks, the Bussing Nag 500A and Bussing Nag 500S. These follow on from their Einheitsdiesel kits of a year or two back. At Nuremberg this week they were showing their next ones with a built up kit of the Bussing Nag 4500A, a later version of the 500A ( they’ll also be doing the 4500S ). Of more interest is confirmation that they will be continuing with their plans to produce a range of Bedford trucks in 1/35, as well as plans to do a variety of kits based on the Einheitsdiesel base which will include a field kitchen and a Breda AA gun.
