Found these four shots of the forthcoming Hobbyboss 1/32 P-61 Black Widow on the German IPMS website. Don’t know how I missed them first time around.

i am thinking of building the 1/32 scale P-61. the pictures of the kits i have seen so far look pretty complete. either hobby boss or trumpeter, however, with all the after market stuff the price is up there no matter which one i build. maybe i will just build out of the box with my own homemade stuff

  2. I’ll just have to remember to fill the nose with led pellets this time. I forgot to fill the B-25, UHU and the ME-262, but for this one I’ll be prepared. I’m NOT looking forward to the price-tag, HOBBYBOSS tends to be EXPEN$IVE!

I’ve always liked the P-61, every since seeing Shep Paine’s dio in ‘How to build dioramas’ book. This will be going on the purchasing list. One thing to note from the pics, will need to remember to add plenty of noseweight lol

Yeah do you get the feeling it was a tight timeframe to get this on display? The decals haven’t been futrued and there’s no nosewieght. I would have thought they’d at least try to add something hidden inside the front wheel well to keep the nose down for display.
