MilitaryModels Is Growing – Two New Websites Are Being Added Tomorrow.

After the success of this site, and the fact that I like spending an hour or so every now and then working on this but it’s now got to the point that I don’t need to spend that much time on it ( yes I know, I still have about 15 reviews to edit and put up ) I’m starting two new sites. Well four actually but only two right now, the other two will be done when I’ve got the first two sorted.

These will both be up tomorrow and I’ll ad links. They’re actually live right now but only the framework is there and I want to make sure everything is working right before people come visiting. It’ll also take me quite a while to populate them with content but then this started with just one post 25 months ago so give it time. Hopefully they’ll be something people will use and enjoy.

Dragon Models Armored 1/4 Ton 4×4 Truck w/.50-cal Machine Gun Update

This was announced at Nuremberg a couple of weeks ago ( kit number 6714 ), and now the poster for this is out now and the really good news is that it looks like DML learned from the mistakes on the SAS Jeep and have corrected the grill and wheels ( hope that means all future SAS Jeeps will be fixed as well ). Thumbs up to DML for that.

Two New Additions To Our Reference Links

AMMS Brisbane and AMMS Sydney, two Australian sites for modelling groups similar to AMPS in having a focus on armour ( AMMS stands for Australian Military Modelling Society ). There’s a lot of good reference material here, a lot of good walkarounds and a lot of inspiring builds. Well worth checking out ( the Sydney site appears to be undergoing a relaunch as a new site so not all the links are working right now ).

So these have now been added to our “Reference Links” page, which is a page that is getting to the point where it needs a few subcategories.
