Trumpeter has definitely found their niche in the Paper and Protoype Panzer field. This one is the “Hetzer” STARR ( kit number 05524 ), a prototype using a rigid mounted 75mm Pak 39/1 L/48, meaning the gun had no recoil mechanism but rather the vehicle absorbed the recoil force. Great idea in theory, took them years of twiddling and still never really made it with just a few prototypes getting a look in in the final days.
