Italeri have announced the immenent release of kit number 6477, the Semovente L40 da 47/32 ( or should I say re-announced as this kit has been announced as coming soon for a couple of years now ). Let’s hope this time it really is about to hit that shelves as I have a soft spot for Italian Armour.
They’ve also announced the re-release of their old GMC 2 1/2 Ton 6×6 Truck kit ( number 6271 ) which gives you a full cab option to Tamiya’s open cab. Let’s hope that means the other variations on this kit are also going to be seen back on shelves. Italeri may not be the bees knees in quality but they do cover a lot of subjects that no-one else does.
Mmm, that Semovente looks sweet. It’s almost a shame that the Italians were about 5 years behind in tank design.
Also, could you consider changing the way you tag posts with some more general terms; ie tag it as ” ‘italeri’ ‘italian army’ ” etc. That way we can hit a tag, and see all the related items.
The problem with generic tags is that it brings you up on search engines for a lot of unrelated searches but I see where you’re getting at. I might ask my IT department ( the wife ) to find me a plug-in that adds links to related pages to each post ( and then I’ll just have to learn how to use it )
