Work In Progress From Wingscale – 1/32 Scale B17

Yes I know it’s not 1/35 scale armour but I do like to keep an eye on what 1/32 scale aircraft are coming out so as to be able to consider them in a diorama with 1/35 scale vehicles. So imagine this sucker in a crashlanded scene with a bunch of German recovery vehicles around it.

This will include interior detail where the interior is visible, metal reinforcing beams and landing gear, photo-etch, and painting masks.

    Hi,

Where can i get this Big One? Im searching for a 1:32 for a long time. :)

    • Dean says:

This one may never arrive, there was a split between Wingscale and their manufacturer with the manufacturer getting the B-25 and B-17 moulds so it may appear at some point under a new name, but the “Wingscale” branded one looks to be dead.

when will the 1/32 b17 be released and will there be a early version of it…

    • Dean says:

It’s slated for release in August. No idea of other variants planned at this stage, though they do have a B-25 due for release within the next month which will eventually come in several versions so I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see other versions of the B-17 assuming they could work with the existing fuselage and wings as the base kit.
