Introducing A New Photo Etch Manufacturer – MINOR

MINOR is a new Photo Etch manufacturer based in Spain who has started off with a series of detail sets for Tamiya’s Willys Jeep which can also be adapted to the Italeri and Revell version. These are some damn nice looking sets which are going to appeal to the serious detailing fan, especially the working spring set for under $20NZD and the radio set which includes a wiring guide.

yeah, agree there Dean, was tongue in cheek about that, but it has come a loooong way the photo etch stuff.

    • Dean says:

Yeah my eyes and fingers are already struggling. I’m waiting for the day someone makes photo-etch 1/35 scale 7.92mm or .303 rounds in stripper clips ( probably complete with a working brass bolt and chamber for the rifle ). Actually, now that I think about it I’d quite like wooden stocks for my Kar98Ks.

  2. Bart says:

that is insane! Detailing on the springs, what next, 1/35th working engines…??

    • Dean says:

Well crazy as it sounds I’d love an engine that could be stripped right down to show one being worked on. Maybe not for a jeep but a PIV, Panther or Tiger engine would be pretty cool.
