I realised that I have been somewhat remiss in that I have not really covered news releases from resin kit manufacturers and if they fit into the profile of 1/35 scale WWII related then that was just plain wrong of me. So here’s one that’s just been announced and is a damn fine looking kit, and with the NZD now looking a bit healthier against the euro a quite well priced one too for what you get.
AA’s full resin kit of the Humber FWD Light Ambulance ( kit K172 )

This 1/35th scale resin and etched brass model kit by David Jane and Derek Hansen depicts one of the most well known British light ambulance vehicles of WW2.
The Humber FWD 8cwt 4×4 Light Ambulance body was produced by Thrupp & Mabely. A total of 1144 were supplied, and could carry 2-stretcher + 3-sitting (or 5-sitting) casualties. These vehicles were used throughout WW2 and early Post War.
The kit is complete with full interior, suspension and engine detail, optional seating/stretcher arrangements, etched brass detail set and comprehensive decals with many unit options.
