Announced at 2010 The Shizuoka Hobby Show held in Japan last week are these new range of 1/35 scale model kits which apparently are full kits with the RC parts built in. Sort of like the old Remote Control Tamiya kits of old. These certainly give a new dimension to modelling 1/35 scale armour.
A New Era of Tabletop Battles
This new series of 1/35 scale R/C tanks feature 2.4GHz proportional transmitters, eliminating the need for frequency crystals, thus allowing exciting battles which involve large numbers of tanks. Furthermore, movement speed can be precisely controlled to enable more realistic operation.
Brand New Battle System
This battle system has been specially developed for 1/35 scale R/C tanks and includes an LED indicator which flashes or changes color depending on the status of your tank during battle.
Compact Speaker Unit Provides Huge Sound Effects
Despite the model being only about 250mm long, it is equipped with an onboard speaker unit. This enables realistic sound effects such as main gun firing, machine gun firing, engine start/stop, and explosions for when the tank takes damage.
Realistic Tank Movement
From pivot turning and hull recoil after main gun firing to the gun barrel automatically lowering when the tank is damaged in battle, these models offer a variety of lifelike movement actions. An optional Landmine System (tentative) is also being developed to add an extra dimension to 1/35 scale R/C tank battles.
Newly Developed ACTCOM 2.4GHz Control Unit
2.4GHz system means no more annoying frequency crystal changes, and it also allows independent control of tank movement with the left stick and turret/gun movement with the right stick. Actions such as main gun firing are also independently controlled, giving you more flexibility on the battlefield.

Where are you located ? In NZ I suspect you’d have to order them through a store as they’re uber expensive here so I don’t think many stores will carry them on the off chance.
