Have you ever found that you need a spare Browning M2 .50 cal Machine Gun or two ? Perhaps a few stray rifles that you can just have laying around on a diorama ? Or just that you have some unarmed figures that came with no weapons because their intended role didn’t require them, but you want to have them armed and need to find weapons somewhere for them ? It seems that Tamiya thought of that years ago and released this small and inexpensive set of assorted weapons and ammunition.
This comes in a small open ended box containing two silvery grey sprues, both of which are the same so you get two of each item included. Also included is a length of vinyl tube to use with the flame thrower as the hose.
This is an older set from Tamiya so some of the details on some of the weapons is a little soft and they all have minor mould seams to remove, but there is no flash other than some very minor bits between the individual rounds in the ammo belts. Some of the mouldings are quite delicate and include quite a bit of detail.
One nice feature is that the sprues have moulded guides for the placement of the feet of the tripods for the Browning M2 .50 cal Machine Gun and the M18 Recoiless Rifle to aid in assembling them.

These may be a little soft around the edges but they can be cleaned up easily, and the detail can be sharpened up with a good scalpel blade and a bit of TLC. You get a lot of weapons and weapon related accessories in this kit which makes it very good value for money and they still do the job well.
