This second set of tank supplies from Academy ( see first set HERE ) adds a lot more of the basics as well as a few bits intended for modern vehicles. Again this is an inexpensive little set that comes on three dark yellow sprues. The moulding on all the parts is nice and clean with sharp detail and minimal cleanup required.
You get pretty much what you see in the photos :
- six assorted wooden ammo boxes
- a coil of wire
- two large WWII British fuel cans, three small WWII British fuel cans
- one US WWII oil can
- one backpack
- three lengths of chain with a hook on one end
- three German WWII early jerry cans, three German WWII late jerry cans
- four US WWII jerry cans, two US jerry cans ( modern ),
- one US WWII Jerry can in a vehicle mount
- one British jerry can ( modern )
- two Israeli jerry cans, four Israeli jerry cans in vehicle holders
- one Browning .30 cal MG with tripod and shield
- one US hot/cold drink container ( modern )
- one US food container ( modern )
- one radio cassette player ( modern )
Another handy little set to have around, though I find Set I to be the more useful of the two, mainly as I don’t do modern armour so the modern parts are no use to me but that may not be the case for everyone.
